Welcome to the Bay Photography Group

The Bay Photography Group has been created by a group of enthusiastic, and creative photographers, who wish to explore all aspects of their craft.

Photography does not need to stop with a photo on the wall or your computer screen!!!

Understanding the fundamental basics of good photography is only the start, it opens the door to the wider world of photography.

Here at the Bay Photography Group, we learn to understand the techniques of producing a good image, by helping each other bringing in guest speakers, accessing instructional or inspiring You Tube tutorials, and then, going out and trying them for ourselves.

We also offer regular special interest workshops, covering a wide range of genres, from Macro photography, Still life, and more creative processes.

We encourage all forms of imagery, including video, and drone photography.

We have regular in house digital and print competitions, and also enter many external international competitions

Welcome to your new website.

This information is the first ‘post’ on your site’s blog. Brief is better – best to just replicated the information in the top left area of the page.

To communicate with your members you create posts and publish them. These posts are sent as email messages to each member of your club. Use the Management button to access the Create Post area. The editor used is the standard WordPress editor. Many tutorials are available on how to use the editor – but the best advice is to keep it short, simple, single topic, and include an image to attract attention. Post often to announce upcoming events, thank-yous and reminders. Reading your blog allows a potential member to get a feel for what your club does.

There are a large number of videos on the main MyPhotoClub site that demonstrate the system. Click here to go there.
